SHISEIDO WhiteLucent

We designed a limited package of Shiseido's medicated whitening serum "WhiteLucent". Cherry blossoms painted in pinks along with white sand lilies are painted on a gentle green willow color. The petals of the cherry blossoms seem float, as if blown up in the wind. The cherry blossoms I painted this time are done in different shades of pink. There are many different kinds of cherry blossoms in Japan, each with its own shade of pink. They come in whitish pinks, deep pinks, and more. The same is true of human skin, each tone unique and beautiful. This piece was done with these thought in mind. 資生堂の薬用美白美容液"WhiteLucent"の限定パッケージをデザインしました。 柳をイメージした優しいグリーンの上に様々なピンク色で描いた桜と、ホワイトサンドリリーを描いています。 桜の花びらが風でふわっと舞い上がるようなやわらかい空間をイメージしました。 今回描いた桜は、すべて同じ色で統一するのではなく様々なピンク色で描いています。日本にある桜には多種多様な種類があり、ピンクの色味もそれぞれ。白っぽいピンクも濃いピンクも、それぞれの魅力があります。 人の肌も同じで、いろいろな個性があってそれぞれに美しさを秘めている、そんな思いと重ねながら描きました。
